Benefits Vital Whey is a delicious 100% natural nutritional protein perfect for adults and children. Vital Whey is made with Proserum the finest native whey protein available. It is minimally processed to maintain the full range of all the fragile immune-modulating and regenerative components naturally present in fresh raw milk. In addition to its many health-promoting properties it is a great way to manage hunger and sustain good energy levels. Whey protein is one of the two proteins found in milk, with the other being casein. It is very useful for hitting targeted daily protein goals. Whey is absorbed faster than other forms of protein, which means it also increases muscle protein synthesis used to break a fasted state. Whey also delivers a large amount of the amino acid L-cysteine, which can alleviate deficiencies that occur with obesity, diabetes and with aging, as well as other conditions. Whey protein appears to increase muscle protein synthesis to a higher degree than other protein sources in the short term. Whey will increase insulin sensitivity to a larger degree than casein when consumed by obese persons in a part of a fat loss diet. Reductions in fatty liver have been noted with whey protein supplementation, which is thought to be more effective than other protein sources due to the high L-cysteine content.

I don’t consider Vital Whey to be a supplement due to the careful prcessing and active immune-supporting factors it retains in the production. Better immune system, quick meal on the go, faster recovery are all major reasons for my and my family’s personal use as well as the only protein sold at our faciltiy.

    Look no more!
This stuff is awesome! I’ve tried many whey products and this one is the absolute best! Into my blender goes a scoop of vital whey, 5 ice cubes, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 ripe banana and a cup of unsweetened almond milk…. YUMMY!! It’s filling so I drink it for breakfast and lunch!

This whips up really well! I only have to add 4 oz water because after I blend it, it doubles in volume. This is very sweet, which I love! If you don’t want your protein shakes to taste like desert then go for the “Natural” version of Vital Whey. I’ve done a lot of reading about Proserum whey and I believe it is the cream of the crop as far as CLEAN undenatured whey goes. I look forward to boosting my glutathione levels with continued use of this product

    No-soy; From grass-fed cows; GMO-free; Non-denatured; Hormone-treatment-free
Whenever I craved sweets during my last pregnancy, I reached for this instead. As a result I gained 22 pounds instead of my usual 35-40 pounds. (Craving sugar? That means protein is lacking.)
My usual protocol: one scoop Vital Whey, roughly 1 cup raw milk, and sometimes 2 raw egg yolks (from pastured hens – I don’t eat raw eggs from commercial hens!), place in shaker cup and it’s ready in 30 seconds. Sometimes all that goes in the blender with a banana and some frozen strawberries for a smoothie. Or instead of frozen berries, a scoop of peanut butter and some ice. Yumm.
I like that the protein source is whey from pastured cows and NOT FROM SOY!

    Easily blends, nice light taste
I purchased this because I read about some of the benefits of whey in its nondenatured form, and this seemed as close as I could get.
I had read that this kind of whey has immunoglobulins and other remarkable nutritional factors that support the body’s creation of glutathione, which is apparently not absorbable by itself, but the body needs factors to create it. Glutathione is a kind of master peptide, and it diminishes with aging and is very low in people who are ill, so consuming things that raise it is beneficial to overall health.
I have only just started on it, so can’t attest to the health benefits, and I generally feel pretty good (but have now dormant CFS which I wish to keep that way!), but for sure I can say it is lovely delicate flavored, easily blends, and you don’t even need a blender to dissolve it. In fact according to what I’ve read, it should be treated carefully and not blended too violently, but gently stirred, as some of nutritional factors in it are delicate.
There are 15 grams of protein per scoop and minimal carbs. It keeps the blood sugar stable but is not terribly filling so it would be good to add an oil or flax to your smoothie if you are taking it in the a.m.
Of course this is a pricey product, but if it actually does what I’m hoping it will, and actually has active factors it seems to, then it would be well worth the price.
